Poppy Petals
Layered pressed poppy petals become reminiscent of sea creatures, or Ginkgo leaves. I grew these poppies in the summer of 2022, and collected and pressed the petals as they fell. One of my favourite pieces, I have painted the wrinkles and imperfections with liquid gold leaf.

On archival paper, made from 100% cotton with a calcium carbonate buffer to protect from atmospheric acidity.
