A unique hanging ornament containing an original cyanotype finished with gold gilding paint, made on archival cotton paper. The gold frame and details of the cyanotype sparkle in the light when hung, and compliment the deep blue of the original cyanotype. Each piece features fronds of the maidenhair fern and is entirely unique.
This piece is available in two options. The first option is a single-sided ornament with the cyanotype on one side and the other side being blank, perfect for a personal message. The second option is a double-sided ornament containing two unique and original cyanotypes. The ornament can be opened so a message can be written inside the piece. Each piece measures approximately 8×8cm.
Something blue, a festive gift, a treat for a special someone? This ornament can be gifted for any occasion.
I source the frames from a fair trade and sustainable supplier.
I make these to order so when you purchase the piece, please allow 7-10 days for it to arrive. As each piece is unique, the ornament you receive may differ from those shown in the photos.
