Honesty Herbarium
This is one of my favourite pieces in my collection. This is honesty, moonwort, or Lunaria annua, and the transparent seed heads work so brilliantly with the cyanotype technique. I made this piece in the style of the Victorian herbarium, the era in which the cyanotype technique was developed.

An original, botanical cyanotype with gold detailing.
On archival paper, made from 100% cotton with a calcium carbonate buffer to protect from atmospheric acidity.
Signed in gold.
